Guitarless soundscapes equally fit for Sunday afternoons or television soundtracks (their intended purpose); these seventeen songs occasionally hit the mark with subtle hooks and evocative vocals. “The Mystery” sums it up, adding whirring keyboards, chiming piano, and layered vocals to a flickering core. Too much, however, glides by without notice.
