A "slow, seductive... stunner" according to Jack Rabid, BASS CRAWL was a "true collaboration" between Jeff and Dan. The song is unique in that Dan plays the bass lines and Malone Koenig sings backing vocals. She was the first guest vocalist to appear on an Idaho release, aside from frequent-producer Martin Brumbach.
